Glupi is designed to be calm, private, and respectful of your data. This policy explains what we collect, what we share (and don’t), and the choices you have.

We built Glupi with privacy in mind. We only collect information when it’s needed to provide the features you use, and we work to keep your information secure.

Depending on how you use Glupi, we may collect or process:

  • Information you provide in the app (for example, reminders, dose logs, weight entries, notes, and nutrition logs).
  • Meal photos if you choose to use photo-based features (for example, scanning or analysis).
  • Support communications (for example, if you email us, we receive the contents of your message and your email address).
  • Basic website data when you visit https://getglupi.com, like standard server logs (which may include IP address, user agent, and requested pages).

3. Where your data is stored

Glupi is designed so that your personal information does not get stored outside of your device and is kept only as long as needed to deliver the services you’ve requested. Some features may require sending data to a service provider for processing (see “Sharing of information” below).

4. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide app functionality you request (reminders, tracking, insights, and support).
  • Maintain safety, security, and reliability (including troubleshooting and preventing abuse).
  • Communicate with you when you contact us.

5. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal data. The only information we share with third parties in the normal course of providing the service is:

  • Meal photos (and related request data) when you use photo-based features. These may be processed by third-party service providers solely to provide the feature you requested.

We do not share personally identifiable information publicly unless required by law (for example, to comply with a lawful request).

6. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed to provide the service you requested and to comply with legal obligations. In general, app data is intended to remain on your device. If you contact support, we may retain correspondence for a reasonable period to resolve issues and improve support quality.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

8. Links to external sites

Our website or app may link to external sites that are not operated by us. We have no control over their content or practices and can’t accept responsibility for their privacy policies.

9. Your choices

  • Right to withhold information: You can decline to provide personal information, but it may prevent us from providing some features.

10. Children’s privacy

Glupi is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of Glupi signifies acceptance of the updated policy.
